Faulty charger

This is my second complaint about radio shack, I bought a faulty charger and tried to return it within the 14 days, they have refused to return or replace it and are insisting to send it for maintenance. I complained here and radio shack called me still insisting that they must send it to the service center and that this is their company "policy". This is illegal and immoral and the worst costumer service and complaint management i have ever come across from any business.

I bought a car charger from radio shack on 31/1/2014 and tried to return it within the 14 days as it did not work. They did not accept returning and told me they must send it to the service center to determine if it is not working due to misuse or not. I did not even use the charger i only tried it and it didn't work put it back in the box again and it is my right to return or replace any product in 14 days according to the law.

Radio shack sells products in sealed packaging that you have to peal to get the product out (1-time open), and when you return it within the 14 days, they tell you that they can't take it as it's not the products original state, which includes the packaging. This is against the law and Consumer Protection Association (CPA) should deal with that.
